Stall Fall Classic Rules

The UPA 11th Edition Rules of Ultimate apply, with these Clarifications/modifications:

Points: All pool play games (Saturday) are to 13 points, soft time cap is sixty minutes.

At the sixty minute whistle, play continues until a team scores, then add two to the highest score as the hard cap, however in soft cap you must win by two points.  The time hard cap is at seventy-five minutes.  At the seventy-five minute whistle, the game is over after the point is played out, if tied next point wins.  No timeouts are permitted after the soft time.  Calling a timeout will result in a loss of possession. Half time is when the first team gets 7 points

 

Playoff games (Sunday) are to 15 points, soft time cap at sixty minutes and hard time cap at seventy-five minutes.  Half time is when the first team gets 8 points. 

 

For the A and B Division Championship games are to 15 points, soft time cap at ninety minutes and hard time cap at 105 minutes.  Half time is when the first team gets 8 points. 

Spirit of the Game: After each game a spirit score of 1 to 10 is to awarded to the opposing team and marked on the score sheet. Half scores are permitted. (Please see Spirit of the Game for a clarification on how to score spirit)

Gender Ratio:  Maximum of four players of either gender on the field at any time.  You may play 4M/3F or 4F/3M any time, but the opposition is not obliged to match.  Six players minimum are needed to play a game, without defaulting.  There must be 3 males and 3 females.  The opposition is not obliged to match numbers.

Time-outs: One time-out per half, per team, plus one floater.

Foot blocks:  Foot blocks are not permitted.

Brick:  Brick is marked out at 15 yards from the end zone.

Start Time: Please be on time, points may be assessed to late teams at a rate of one point for every five minutes late.

Game Sheets: Captains are responsible to hand in the game sheets to the field convener at the end of each game.  Please confirm with opposing team the final score of the game.

Tiebreaker Criteria:  If two teams are tied after Saturdays Pool play then the following is to be used to decided who places higher.

a) Head to head.  If the two teams tied played each other, the winner of the game places higher.

b) Point differentials, counting only games against common opponents

c) Points scored, counting games against all common opponents.

d) Points against, counting games against all common opponents.

e) Flip a disc

Abuse/Alcohol Policy:  Any abuse, whether it be physical, sexual or mental is not acceptable in any manner.  If this kind of abuse is reported, the player or team will receive a verbal warning.  If a second incident occurs the player or team will be asked to leave the league or tournament without refund.   Teams are responsible for other teammates actions, as a teammate, please encourage good sportsmanship at all times.  Perpetual Motion Sports & Entertainment Inc. reserves the right to eject a player or team without a warning and without a refund.  Alcohol is not permitted at any game or event, offenders will be asked to leave the tournament without refund. Please note that in the event of excess rain, the City of Guelph may close the fields
