Stall Fall Classic Rules
The UPA 11th Edition Rules of Ultimate apply, with these Clarifications/modifications:
Points: All pool play games (Saturday) are to 13 points, hard time cap at seventy-five minutes. Play the point out from where the whistle was blown ONLY IF THE GAME IS TIED, next point wins. If the disc is in the air when the whistle is blown the resulting catch (continuation) counts. Tied games after the whistle must begin with a defensive check. Half time is when the first team gets 7 points.
Playoff games (Sunday) are to 15 points, hard time cap at seventy-five minutes. Play the point out from where the whistle was blown ONLY IF THE GAME IS TIED, next point wins. Half time is when the first team gets 8 points.
For the A and B Division Championship games there is a soft cap at 90 minutes. At the 90 minute whistle play continues until a team scores, then add two to the highest score as the hard cap. The time hard cap is at 105 minutes. At the 105 minute whistle, the game is over after the point is played out. No timeouts are permitted after the soft time. Calling a timeout will result in a loss of possession.
Spirit of the Game: After each game a spirit score of 1 to 10 is to awarded to the opposing team and marked on the score sheet. Half scores are permitted. (Please see Spirit of the Game for a clarification on how to score spirit)
Time-outs: One time-out per half, per team, plus one floater.
Foot blocks: Foot blocks are not permitted.
Gender Ratio: Maximum of four players of either gender on the field at any time. You may play 4M/3F or 4F/3M any time, but the opposition is not obliged to match. Six players minimum are needed to play a game, without defaulting. There must be 3 males and 3 females. The opposition is not obliged to match numbers.
Brick: Brick is marked out at 15 yards from the end zone.
Start Time: Please be on time, points may be assessed to late teams at a rate of one point for every five minutes late.
Game Sheets: Captains are responsible to hand in the game sheets to the field convener at the end of each game. Please confirm with opposing team the final score of the game.
Tiebreaker Criteria: If two teams are tied after Saturdays Pool play then the following is to be used to decided who places higher.
a) Head to head. If the two teams tied played each other, the winner of the game places higher.
b) Point differentials, counting only games against common opponents
c) Points scored, counting games against all common opponents.
d) Points against, counting games against all common opponents.
e) Flip a disc
Abuse/Alcohol Policy:
