Guelph Ultimate Registration 2012


Spring League Registration is now open

 Spring League Registration - Opens February 1st, and Closes Friday, April 27th, 2012

Option 1  Teams can register online and mail in with payment to Perpetual Motion or send an email transfer to dave@perpetualmotion.org.  Individuals and Small Groups can print off the registration form and send it in to Perpetual Motion.

 

Option 2  Come to the Registration WeekTuesday thru Thursday April 17th, 18th and 19th, 2012 from 4:30pm to 7pm at the Beach Volleyball Courts Picnic Shelter at the corner of Edinburgh Rd. and Wellington St. (across from the old OPP Station). You can sign up as a team, small group or as an individual.  Space is limited, so don't wait and be disappointed. 

 

The mandatory Ultimate Frisbee Captains and Individual Players meeting will be Wednesday May 2nd at 6:30pm at the Beach Volleyball Courts Picnic Shelter at the corner of Edinburgh Rd. and Wellington St. (across from the old OPP Station).  Captains will receive a disc and a clipboard complete with rules, spirit of the game explanation, waivers, a pen and game sheets.  Individuals will meet their teammates.  There will also be a short explanation about the game sheets and on how the league works.  


B Division - Indoor 6 vs 6 Co-ed Ultimate (Marden Field House)

Winter 2 League    - Sunday Evenings, between 4pm to 9pm start

                             January 22nd, 29th February 12th, 26th, March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st 2012

Team Structure    -  Minimum of 2 males and 2 females on the field

                          -  It is recommended that each team have 11 to 12 players

                          - Teams can register for $1000**/teams per league

                          -  Individuals can register for $85**/person per league

 

A Division - Indoor 6 vs 6 Co-ed Ultimate (Marden Field House)

Winter 2 League    - Monday Evenings, between 6pm to 10pm start

                             January 23rd, 30th February 6th, 13th, 27th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th 2012

Team Structure    -  Minimum of 2 males and 2 females on the field

                          -  It is recommended that each team have 11 to 12 players

                          - Teams can register for $1000**/teams per league

                          -  Individuals can register for $85**/person per league

Fall League             - Sundays August 26th to October 21rd (no games on Sept 2nd or October 7th)

August and September games are 6:30pm to 8:00pm, October games are 3:00pm to 4:30pm

Registrants in the Winter 1 League will have first priority over Winter 2 League Spaces, however you must register before December 4th, 2012.


Registration Fees

- Teams can register for $450*/team per Spring and Summer Outdoor league

- Individuals can register for $45*/person per Spring and Summer Outdoor league

- Teams can register for $350*/team per Fall league

- Individuals can register for $35*/person per Fall league teams under the lights

- Teams can register for $1000*/team per Indoor league

- Individuals can register for $85*/person per Indoor league

- * = includes H.S.T.

 

Registration Deadlines

- Spring League - Opens February 1st, and Closes Friday, April 27th, 2012

- Summer League - Opens Monday May 21st and Closes Friday, June 22nd, 2012

- Fall League - Opens Monday July 21st and Closes Friday, August 17th, 2012

- Winter 1 League - Opens Monday September 3rd and Closes Friday, September 28th 2012

- Winter 2 League - Opens Monday November 9th and Closes Friday, December 14th 2012


Ultimate Leagues - Suggested Skill Level

A - Division - played at least one year, looking to play with a bit more strategy ie stack, zone etc...

B - Division - played at least one year or can pick things really quickly, can throw forehand (flick), backhand etc..

C - Division - Brand new or fairly new to the sport, but have lots of enthusiasm, looking for a fun night


                       

Register as a Team

  • In order to Register as a Team, the team captain must complete an Electronic Registration Form, and send the payment to Perpetual Motion.

  • All team members must complete a Waiver form which will be handed out at the Captain's meeting.

  • Captains must collect all waivers and give them to the field convener PRIOR to the start of the first game.

Register as an Individual

  • In order to Register as an Individual, an Individual Registration and Waiver form must be completed and sent with payment to Perpetual Motion.

  • We will place you on a team, however, team placement is not guaranteed and subject to available space. 

  • Typically it has never been a problem finding players teams. 

  • This is a great way of meeting new people.
